ARTsynonyme for sustainable art
Can art and ecology work together? We are convinced they can. Discover our commitments to a more responsible platform.
Our concrete actions
- Guaranteed short supply chains: choosing local artists naturally reduces the carbon footprint of deliveries. On average, our artworks travel less than 150 km.
- Eco-conscious packaging: we encourage our artists to use recycled cardboard and reusable materials for shipping.
- Promoting upcycling: many artists create artworks from recovered materials. We highlight them with an “Eco-creative” badge.
- Complete transparency: every artist page describes their environmental commitment, including materials, techniques and approach.
- Awareness: we regularly publish articles about sustainable artistic practices.
Our promise
For every artwork sold on ARTsynonyme, we donate €1 to a local reforestation organisation. 0+ trees planted since our launch!
