Stephanie Ganne

Born in 1973 in Loudéac, Brittany, Stéphanie Ganne showed a deep interest in creativity in all its forms from an early age. Drawn to drawing, theatre and writing, she found her true artistic path at the age of 20, when she began working with oil paint.

During her early years, she developed her artistic eye and technique by studying and copying great masters such as Cézanne, Eugène Boudin and Picasso during his Blue Period. Her personal life led her to move frequently across France, yet she always made sure that each home included a dedicated studio where she could nurture her need to create.

In 2006, she brought greater structure to her practice by undertaking several years of visual arts classes.
