Allaire’s work is multifaceted, evolving from Art Brut and naïve art towards free expression. He regularly uses mixed-media techniques, including combine painting. His influences include Gaston Chaissac, Pirosmani, the Postman Cheval, Henri “Le Douanier” Rousseau and Jean Tinguely—to name but a few.

Biography
A self-taught visual artist, born in La Roche-sur-Yon, Vendée, in 1964.
A practising physiotherapist, he has developed an artistic research practice alongside his profession.
He has lived in Vannes since 2003.
